What is SAF-T

The SAF-T report is an OECD-recommended electronic accounting file to use for a tax audit. This standard is now mandatory in France, Poland, Spain, Norway, Lithuania, Portugal, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Germany and Austria.

Tax administrations continue to push for better accounts transparency, for this reason, they are creating a platform conforming with SAF-T. The OECD’s Committee on Fiscal Affairs (CFA) approved a standard for tax compliance reporting and released the guidance notes. This standard helps auditors to compare the accounting data free from the country standards.

SAF-T is a reporting standard from the OECD, but each country still can generate its own structure.

JAVA SAF-T Library

S4FN has prepared a Java-based solution for its own SAF-T report generation on the web. This library is also available for companies. If you want to set up an on-premise solution for your company,  you can leverage this library to create SAF-T reports. It provides an easy starting point for your SAF-T backend projects.
