Art 1 par 1103 law n. 178/2020
A significant number of changes have been made to the provisions relating to the reporting of cross-border transactions (i.e. the “esterometro”), with reference to operations occurring from 1 January 2022.
With the update the following points are stated:
- The communication is made via the e-invoicing system (i.e. “Sistema di Interchange”) using the XML format, which has been adopted for the issuance of electronic invoices.
- Data regarding sales transactions to foreign entities must be filed within the same term of issuing the relevant invoice.
- Data related to purchases made by foreigners must be filed by the 15th of the month following the month in which the relevant invoice is received or the underlying transaction is concluded.
Esterometro in SAP via SDI Interface
The reporting of purchase invoices and cross-border sales which was called Esterometro, will be replaced by utilizing SAP, even if you have a different solution installed, you can use the S4FN solution independently to report these invoices.
S4FN adapts to this change by introducing independent SAP screens and tools.
